Thats just to bring them out farther to give a flush look. They arent "needed" but you may want them.

No. Your brakes are puny and the offset is not that much different. If you run spacers you will likely need to slightly roll the rear fenders.

Ok, I won't be doing that then. Maybe in the future if I decide it bothers me.

brand new the wheels are about 600 like you said, that's no tires. but once the vehicle has been driven (even 20 miles) they're used and not worth that. a grand is a great price for them for wheels and tires, you can't even buy aftermarket for that and they are oem wheels. some of the best looking wheels you can put on any mazda also. i've got a picture of a white ms3 (brand new sitting in the showroom here at work) with the black wheels on it. it's not grey they're actually a semi-gloss black. they're sexy. I want a set if he still has them in like february or so.

'12 Mazda 6i Sport:
Smoked markers
Blacked out trim and emblems
OEM Spoiler with LED 3rd brakelight
Many more to come

I just realized my spare is only a 17.. so I'd have to get another 18 for that, right?

You could have a 15" spare as long as the over all size stays the same.

Wheel gap is like a vagina… The more fingers you can fit, the worse it is.

So it'll be fine if the tires are the same diameter? Are they?
