Pros chime in

I am looking to buy a used pair of

Motegie MR116 18x8 +45mm
Paired with tires
Falken Ziex ZE912 225/45ZR18 91W M+s

Using wheel offset calculator basing my stock rims at 60mm offset 7.5 width, it says i will gain 9mm clearence inner (by the strut)
and poke out 21mm towards the fender, 21 mm is a nickle or .826 of an inch

So the question is
Will i need a roll or should i be fine?

yes you do need to roll.

just wondering, which year is your 6, i dont remember a x7.5 on a factory wheel
the stock 17 is 17x7.0 +60

but yes you do have to roll

rx8 18s are 18x8 +50, and those need rolling with 225s

How much rolling needed...midget head to inner fender rolling, heat gun and rolling pin rolling or hub attachment rental rolling?......

got the wheels , he let them go for 400.00. put them on....two studs were stripped on front driver so i had fun replacing those at 1 am... good thing i keep spares around. had to roll rear fenders, unfortunatly my midget was sick and wife took away my rolling pin so i used a rubber mallet instead. im sure my neighbors loved me working on the car till 3 am banging away. ill put up some pics later.

You have any picture of nice clean roll and what we should expect if we pay someone??? Hint I was quoted 16 to $1,800 today, to cut, weld, refinish! OMG - H$ll NO!

Bought a used 6, with 18 X 8, +45 sporting 225/40/18 and as you pointed out, they rub on the rear. Front seem fine tho.

Thanks in advance. . .

Remove the door guards. The black doesn't flow well.

Thread popped up again and I have since had the rear fenders rolled for $100.
A full tank of gas + people all is well.
