Mentally STUCK

SO, this up coming sunday i am supposed to buy a set of rims. 2 in which are 18x8.5 and 2 that are 18x9.5, with a +35 offset. I WANT to put them on my 2004 mazda 6. Which currently is all stock with 17x7 wheels and a +55+60 offset. Now, will this work? I've called a tire place and they said yes, that it would work but out of curiosity i went to a rim place and asked them in person and they said that it would NOT work. I need to know by sunday so i know wether or not i should get these wheels or not. help!

You're definitely going to need a roll, and probably a pull, and it will look stupid, but anything will work with enough determination and money.

This is not a good idea, +35 offset with a 7 in wide wheel will rub like crazy... 8.5 and 9.5 with +35 is crazy! Youll have to do body modifications to fit these...not worth it. Plus changing the offset by a lot will also put more stress on wheel bearings etc.

I had +42 on 7 in wide wheel and it would rub with ppl in the back or on big bumps all the time. I have +45 on 7 inch wide wheel and it rubs a lot less often, but can rub if the car is packed and hit big bump

venom that is not correct at all

+35 with a 8.5 will require nothing in the front

+35 with a 9.5 in the rear will require a roll, small pull or a bit of camber and a stretched tired(225/40)

I'm running a +40 8.5 all around and run no camber adjustments what so ever and still have room to play.
