center cap removal

how eexactly do you get the center caps off on the stock rims? Do you just pry them out or is there a trick to it. I want to paint the mazda emblem black but would rather have the center cap off before i try anything.

if you pry at them, you will mess up the edges. to properly remove them. remove the wheel, then just tap the center caps from the back. they will pop right out, and not get damaged.
