I'll get some pics soon.

Any chance of taking those pics yet? I'm waiting for those to see what it looks like before making a decision on springs and tires. I'm also waiting for confirmation of your tire size and brand so I can look up the specs on that tire since you say you're rubbing now.

So far it looks like my tire options are either 215/45, 225/25 or 225/40. I'm hoping to run the Continental DWS in a 225/45 size depending on what the car looks like with RB springs.

Thanks,
Michael

Michael
Sorry for the confusion above, I have the hatch/wagon kit with MS6 rear shocks.

Post #6, I stated that I choose the V6 kit (Hatch/Wagon kit is made for V6) so it can let let people think it's the V6 SEDAN kit I'm talking about. I have the Hatch/Wagon kit.

Post #17, Precision about what I really have.

Hey sorry for the delay on the pics, i've been out of town. Its been nothing but rain here. I have phone camera picture that's not that great that I will upload today (left my phone in my car). I don't want to take my nice camera out in the rain.

My tires are goodyear 235/40/18s

Thank you!

Perfect! That's exactly the look I want. Your car looks great! Thank you very much for the pic!

One more thing. Could you verify your size and brand of tire? You said it rubbed and I really want to compare your tire specs to the tire I am thinking of running.

Thank you!
Michael

Interesing information, thanks for the link.

Since I am going with the RB springs, I wonder how much travel I will have before hitting the bump stops, I also wonder whether my tire will rub like Hashish16's does.

Time will tell, cause I ordered the 225/45 Continental DWS tires yesterday. I also ordered the Koni FRS strut kit and I am ordering the RB springs tonight. I am going to wait on the sway bars to evaluate the changes, but I suspect that I will end up with the RB sway bar/link kits too.

Now, if I could just get the wrecking yards to send me a 100% working radio/climate/clock display I'd be a happy camper!

Thanks,
Michael

Probably too late to make a difference since you already ordered them, but I have the DWS tires in 215/45/18's on MS3 wheels (which are narrower than the RX8 wheels) on my '05 wagon. The tires are great, unbelievable traction in all conditions, and very quiet ride. They do not have the stiffest sidewalls in the world, so they will give a bit in hard cornering, but they will NOT let go.
