Does this offset Calculator Sound right?

I am going to be running RX-8 rims in the summer and having my fenders rolled this weekend. I picked up a set of 16" (16x7) winter rims but the offset was higher than advertized, and high for the 6 (+40MM).

I ran it through the calculator, and it looks like they are about the same!

RX-8: 225/45/18 (18x8)
Wnter: 205/60/16 (16x7)

Does that sound right to you guys?

I have attached a screenshot!

The one I should be concerned about the most is "POKE" right? The first number is the RX-8 and the 2nd is the Snow rim.

RX-8 / SNOW
Poke: 51.6mm 48.9mm Inset: 151.6mm / 128.9mm

Both poke and inset are important. If the inset is too great, it'll rub on suspension components. In this particular case, inset won't be your issue.

These will poke less than the RX8s and have less inset because they are way thinner.

Very cool. I was worried the aggressive offset would be too much, i knew the RX rims were wide. These should look / work OK.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I'm pleased :-)
