i don't think it will, but that's just based on previous posts and owners,

1 guy put on +38 offset and tore up his fenderwall.

My 8.5 inch wide rim didn't help either, but yes I was rolled completely. I was in awe when I saw that my tire had ripped the fender back forward. I wasn't even lowered. a 40 offset will work, but I wouldn't recommend it. My 19x7.5 45 is real close as it is. I can't imagine a 40 mm offset.

well you just answered a couple of questions there for me i was wondering about the 8.5 wide wheel also . do you think i could use the 8.5 rim on if the offset was a little higher say 45 . i found this rim i really like but only in 18 x 8.5 . i didnt even bother to look at what offset they had

theres a member with that setup on 225's. 18x8.5 45 offset. His username is Zm saint. I'm not sure if he rubs or not, but I don't see why it won't work, but then again it is close, at least by remembering how his pictures looked.

Yeah i Just put on 18x7.5 with a 45mm offset. I also put on 235/40/18 so they would protect the wheels and I was rubbing where there was significant body roll and bumbs. I rolled the fenders today with a bat to help out my investments. And my car isn't lowered. I want to lower my car but I don't know if I threw those plans out the window or not. I'm not to worried about it now after I was rubbing. Anything is possilbe, but I'd say just be careful.
