yeah i just found ZM ZM saint 's cardomain site . he has the 8.5 but it looks very close and he only has a 225 40 18 , and you can plainly see that the rim is to big for that tire . the rim looks like it has no protection . so looks like im out on the 8.5 's as the roads around here will eat those rims up

Yeah, I got the Montegi 18's, 8.5-- big time rubbing. Too bad, I love the rims, the wide look kills. Looks like I'm in the market for new rims now as well. Don't look like rolling will solve this issue.

the rim is only 17''...width is only 7....40 offset seems okay, and i think it'll fit. however, just roll to make sure.

OK I know this thread is old as hell but I don't care lol. Just bought some Enkei OR52's 17x7 +38 offset for a really good price. Bought them because of the good deal and they only weigh 18 lbs and one of my stockers is bent so its annoying as hell. With stock tire size will these fit without rubbing or do I need to roll my fenders? Yes I've used the search on here and I swear everybody has mixed feelings whether +38 will fit or not. I just want a straight answer. If not I can still resell them for double what I paid. 05 Mazda 6 stock height at the moment. Not sure if I Want to lower yet. Pm me or respond on here.

XXR 522 17x8 +35 w/rolled fenders,Door molding mod,Air box mod,Resonator mod, 35w 8000k hids fog and low beam,Mssport style grille,Glowshift gauges,Glowshift Center triple gauge pod,Spin on oil conversion,Ultra white reverse leds,Corksport led kit,Black Headlight housing, side marker and reflectors smoked,plasti-dip badges black,Tail light mod,Marker light mod , blacked out stock exhaust.

I have 17x7 +35 offset wheels and i"m about an inch lower. The back rubs on sharp turns and dips. I would just roll the fenders before the wheels come so you don't have to deal with the problem. With my fenders rolled the +35 still rubs a little on the fenders with passengers in the back so I need to pull my fenders a bit and you might need to also.

Ok thank you. Just for a little more clarification. Anyone else who is running the same size rim or close to the size I mentioned, please post your experience also. Much appreciated everyone.
