Yeah I dont get why Bilstien pulled it. I found them in stock at a place in Austin, TX and got 2 B4's for the front. I got them installed last month and cant really say much. They feel almost the same as stock to me except in some cases like braking hard (way less nose dive)

I got them because my drivers side strut was leaking after only 70k KMs. I would not recommend spending $650 on shocks though. Not worth it for M6. Just get stock then. I would assume they have improved the design and it doesnt fail that often now

Any one install these on an '18 Mazda6? Curious if they fit. Bilstein doesn't show them available for the 2018.

Well I couldn't wait on Bilstein to figure out when they were "really" going to release their shocks so I went ahead and bought the Koni Yellows on eBay. I took advantage of a 15% sitewide discount so the total ending up being around $550.

I'm also trying to close on a house so it'll be a little while before these get installed - can't wait!

Has anyone measured a ride height increase with Konis or Bilsteins on OEM springs?

I finally had my Koni Sports installed over the weekend. I didn't bother measuring before and after, but I'd say it sits a hair taller than my 129k old oem suspension. Not terribly different and feels immensely better. I do have the fronts currently set to full hard and rears somewhere in the middle. I also reused the old springs.

Are the Koni smother or stiffer than the B6?

On a Mazda 6? No clue.

The Koni Sports I have now aren't bad at all for a daily driver. The rears are set to the middle and the fronts are one full turn in from full hard. I find the ride stiffer than before, but still compliant and comfortable. This is after having them installed for 2 months and 2,000 miles.

Hey all. New here but have been reading this forum for a while.

Long story short, I bought B8 fronts and ordered B8 rears from Europe (after confirming on Bilstein’s US and European websites that the B4 model numbers were the same) to go along with my RSR springs. I had planned to install them on my 15 Touring model but never got around to it.

I traded that in on a 18 Gt-Reserve last week and was curious if anyone knows if the suspension has changed at all. They show different model numbers for the Oem front shocks. I’m assuming it’s probably a difference in damping due to the weight of turbo models.

I’d just hate to have a brand new set of Bilsteins and RSR springs that I can’t even use, and no one has any suspension goodies out for the new M6’s except for Corksport.
