How hard is it to replace control arms?

I need new control arms on my 2004 6 Wagon and was wondering how hard a job it is to do myself. I'm fairly handy and have done small to medium engine repairs on my cars in the past, but I've never worked on suspension components before.

Where do you live? Lol. Depending on how bad the rust situation is under your car, it can be fairly easy to a complete nightmare of rusted bolts......

I havent' done it personally, but I know @fallenambience ran in to a plethora of issues trying to replace control arms (but we live in NE, so rust is just part of owning a car).

And how hard to do is that?

I live in California, so rusted bolts shouldn't be a problem.

Which control arms do you need replaced? There are three on each side in the front and two or three on each side in the rear.
