2010 Mazda 6 Rear brakes and rotors shot

I was at the dealer a week or so ago, and they came out and let me know the rear brakes were shot with a little over 50k. $380.00 at the dealer so I decided to do them myself. It is my wife's car and she drives pretty slow, and is not hard on vehicles at all.

Trying to decide between Wearever Platinum pads, and Rotors or Autozone Duralast Rotors and Duralast Gold Cmax pads. They both come with Hardware.

Anybody have any experience with either set, or there Rotors.

Thanks,

Greg

Hawk HPS or StopTech pads with Centric blank rotors if they're available for your model. If you're adamant about those brands tho, I'd go with the Duralast Gold's. Last time I checked they had a lifetime warranty.

To keep the rotors from warping, make sure you properly torque the lugs with a torque wrench every time. If you have the vehicle worked on, make sure to retorque the wheels after you get the car back. Most shops don't care and just impact everything, thus resulting to warpage.
