That's a great buy for a vehicle. I've been trying to keep my eye out for a truck on the cheap but haven't really found anything worth my while at this time.

Have you had any luck on finding a subframe for the 6 yet? It's a shame my yard doesn't have more than 1 v6 in it. I'd really like to see what exactly is different between the manual and auto subframe. It shouldn't be much really.

Yeah, I like the black for the wheels it matches all the other trim nicely.
I know it was a great buy as Iíve been looking into it, it doesnít have even half the problems this so called ďmechanicĒ was telling the guy I bought it from it had. For example it supposedly had a bad rod knock, no it has a slight ticking/tapping on the top end most likely a loose rocker arm these 3.7s have them come loose all the time and even come off at times. It doesnít need the entire suspension either it needs a driver side ball joint and a tie rod end, it doesnít even need a fuel pump, I hate sleazy mechanics that try to scam people out of their hard-earned money.

Sorry for my rant lol as for the frame I have not found one the manual I had mentioned before had been taken when I went back to the yard for the wheels so i might try to go up to Cleveland to the yard there at some point (itís an hour + drive one way so it may or may not happen) but as of now itís looking like the frame is going to be a patch job because Iím not spending $300+ on a new one

I'm not sure how much you are willing to spend but I just found these on LKQonline. Not sure how much shipping would be but it's something. Plus if you order 1 from below the salt belt, chances are that it would be in good condition.

Thanks, I always forget about lkq Iíve bought a few things from them shipping wonít be a concern thereís an lkq office/distributor/yard up in Akron about 30 minutes from me if I call them and have the sales person order it I can pick it up and avoid the shipping cost
Also just saw your edit on the tires so thanks for that too Iíve never heard of those so Iíll add them to my list to look into, the price definitely does seem good if theyíre as good as you say

Nice!! Might be able to score one for cheap then. As for the tires, they are Primewell valera sport as. As said, I like them but they do have a little road noise to them. I really didnt notice much until my drivers door pannel broke but I just turn the radio up lol. I have yet to hydroplane in any of the flash floods that we get here but then again, I drive about 5 under when it's wet like that.

Itís been far too long since any real update on the car, work has been a nightmare, I know weíve all been there at some point lol
Anyhow the headlights finally got clear coated and made it on the car (Iíll have a video of them working as soon as I have time to edit it). The install was smooth, just plug and play I swapped all the bulbs from my old lights minus the low beams obviously, I replaced those with some 6000k replacements.
I also purchased and attempted to install the $11 Bolton eBay CAI I could not for the life of me figure out how to make it fit so I said f*** it and cut it and my current eBay CAI up and with the two made one intake that has so far not caused a CEL
My springs are still sitting in the trunk and my frame still has a hole in it though do to my lack of time

Thats great. I bought one of those (hopefully you didn't see it in one of my posts) and what a joke. The thing basically does a 360degree turn on itself. The seller told me the reason was because I both had and didn't have a California car... huh?
They returned my money and recommended I check the application notes and order again. I think I'll go buy a pint with the return and contemplate my options
Your build is coming along nicely. Ever since Jon told me you were making the tilt-o-light upgrade I have been excited to see it work.
I have thought of it but am out of switch slots for the controller.

Lookin' good! I was wondering where you went off to, thought you might be neck deep in the new Jeep. Headlights look great, fixing to swap mine in soon too.

I'm looking forward to a report on the headlight up down switch. I'm super curious to see that work.

Thanks, Iím actually not too deep in the Jeep I got lucky and by taking care of some little things some of the supposed major things were remedied I should have it on the road full time next week so I can start tearing into the 6 slowly

Btw glad to see your build is coming along nicely as well!
