Hey Everyone!

After taking the summer off we are ready to get back to Open Track days at Willow Springs. Our first one is September 17th (Friday) at the Streets of Willow. Cost will be $100 for the day. We have one Open Track day at Streets of Willow each month this fall/winter...all on Fridays. We are working on our 2005 schedule, and it is shaping up to be a very good year next year for track selection and weekend dates.

I would love to see some Mazda6's out there on the track. I have driven both a V6 and an I4 Mazda6 at Streets. so if you guys come out and want some pointers, or for me to drive the car with you riding shotgun, let me know.

We have track days each month for the rest of the year, all on Fridays. Next year we will have more weekend dates at Willow Springs and Button Willow.

I won't make it to this one, but I'll definitely try to get out to one before the end of the year.

Anything around 1:45 is a respectable time on the Streets of Willow Springs. Take into consideration that a completely stock WRX STI runs that track in 1:35 in the hands of a professional driver. Anything under 1:40 is moving VERY fast.

I didnt have a timer installed on my wifes Mazda6i when I took it out at the Streets, so I dont know what I was running that day. All I can say is that the stock tires are horrible.

well i ended up getting the day off, but looking at the costs, i don't think i can spare the $150 plus gas at this point. I really wanna head up again, but looks like i'm gunna have to wait until after track attack and SEMA. but for sure keep up posted, i really wanna head up there when you're up there at least once!

The cost of our track day tomorrow is only $100.... not $150. The next opportunities would be:

October 22nd
November 19th
December 17th

ANd of course many more dates next year.

well i would like a timer to see how i'm improving...$40, and $10 to get in...it's just gonna be tough, but who knows.
