You would have if you weren't so busy hiding after your honeymoon.
Pretty sure they've been proven to not last long and in stock form it's a 14 second car.

Don't get me wrong, I love the look of them, but I'd ditch the rotary immediately if I owned one. Just my preference. No one has to agree.

The RX-8 Rensis motor wasn't the best Rotary you can have that. The original RX-7 Motors and earlier Wankles could go for 200k if taken care of.
The majority of rotary problems are user errors. I had a friend who on an original 120k mile Turbo RX-7 Motor put down 215HP to the wheels on a dyno. Yes the motor eventually broke but he was seriously pushing the HP on that car.
If the only rotary you are familiar with is an RX-8 I can see where you think they are bad, but any time with the original Pre-97 Motors and you will see some of them still going strong.

And having taken a ride in @Lara6 's car, Its much faster than her MS6 and I'll just say its a good thing the seats are brown.

EDIT:
I also understand your opinion, if I bought an RX7/RX8 with a blown motor, I would drop a V8 in there. But if its still going ill keep the rotary. Nothing beats the sound of a annoyed sewing machine.

(edit - I don't feel like arguing)

Why buy an RX7 if you are going to rip out what makes the car unique..what gives it its soul? No thanks. If I wanted a Corvette (I don't) I'd get one.

Anyways - enough of that (please).

This weekend I go for emissions - wish me luck! Tomorrow night is oil change, new spark plugs and vac test. Also going to finish up on my free tail light modification. Horray! Getting her ready for the climb.
