2019 Nissan Altima 2.0T

Nissan has officially applied their new Variable Compression engine into the Altima, creating the 2019 Nissan Altima 2.0T. The compression rangers from 8.0:1 to 14.0:1 and in the Altima it is detuned to 248HP and 280lb-ft of torque. However, it is still saddled with a CVT and fuel economy only returns 29MPG highway

It's also saddled with a face only a mother could love. Nissans in general are only getting uglier, weirder, and less-proportioned with each redesign. There's no flow, no cohesion, it just looks like they took a bunch of straight lines and vomited them onto a car.

And that "floating roof" look? Fail.

Nissan and Bigmouth Bass Toyota are having a contest over who can make the ugliest cars. Right now Toyota is winning, but anything could happen.

Manual transmissions, wagons, and heavy metal are awesome. Zoom-Zoom \m/
