Ford Focus RS

So what does everyone think about the new Focus RS ?

It has a very similar and "possibly" interchangeable 2.3l turbo charged engine putting out 350hp and 350 tq i've herd is a revised of the MZR I4 rebranded as a eco boost engine.. doesnt look too bad for a hatchback either if that's your thing. But damn that msrp 36k ouch.

Its wonderful the US is finally getting a Ford rally car. Something other than the Subaru and Mitsubishi (or All-trac of yester-year) is quite nice.Maybe we will start to see a return to the days of rally based cars. I remember when you could choose from an all-trac (GT4) Celica, Mazda 323 GTX, Subaru Turbo, Merkur ZR4TI (Ford Sierra) or Audi Quatro Coupe. The seats in the RS are very uncomfortable for anyone larger than about a 30" waist. I am a 34" waist and the seat was way too narrow for me causing hips and legs to ache. Great side bolstering for track however. The torque is intoxicating.
If I am spending the MSRP then replacing the seats would not be a big deal.
