Sport or Grand Touring?

Hi everyone, Newbie here trying to figure out if my 05 sedan is a Sport model or Grand Touring? It has the 3.0 V6 and AT, the only emblems on the car are the V6 ones on the doors and trunk. Any help figuring this out would be great! Thanks

There was no gt in 05. There were a couple of packages you could add to a Sport model (Bose, Sunroof, Leather, Auto Climate), but mostly it was exterior, especially on sedans. Hatches and wagons all had sport body work.

@GerryB

I just gave my 05 Mazda 6s GT to my nephew last year. It was definitely available. My wifey also had an 05 Mazda 3 GT at the same time....Mazda family!

2005 Mazda 6s GT came with the 6sp suitable automatic Aisin transmission, V6, leather interior, heated seats, Bose, sunroof, 6 spd automatic trans, automatic climate control, integrated fog lights inside the headlight housing, auto on off headlights.

Can't think what else came with it... but I don't think there was any available optional packages.

Toy4x, my car has all of these options with the exception of the FOG LAMPS!
I would like to add fog lamps to it, but there is a difference in the bumpers between Sport and GT?!

GerryB, My car has Bose, Sunroof, Leather, & Climate control. It doesnt have any exterior options like rear spoiler, side skirts etc.
Any other ideas for me to look at?

05 gt had integrated fog lamps located in the headlight housing. You should have 3 "projectors" in each headlight. 1) fog light 2) headlight/high beam 3) turn signal

I never got around to installing aftermarket fog lights in the cutouts. I believe the sport bumper and gt bumpers were the same. You MUST get a set of sport fog lights as the normal sets don't work.

It's been a couple of years lol. Mine was a hatch sport 5 speed v6 with a Bose/Sunroof package and auto climate. Cloth seats. Personally, don't remember a GT package, but like I said, it's been a bit.

Sedan, I assume. Does it look like the car in the picture? Do the bumpers look like there's a lip on the bottom? And you say there are no spoilers, so no trunk spoiler. Sounds like a non-sport S model with some toys.

Here's where the difference comes in: The "base", non-sport bumper is different from the sport bumper and, as such, make the fog lights for those bumpers different. There were fogs available for the non-sport bumpers in far greater quantities than for sport. In fact, fogs for sport bumpers are extinct at this point. Also, you may have all the projector elements in your headlight clusters and not have the integrated fogs. Check your turn signal stalk for another switch ring a little past the headlight switch. If it's there, your bulbs are probably burned out, a very common occurrence.
