2006 Mazda 6 from Australia

Hi I have recently gotten an 06 mazda and im interested to do a few things to it.

I havnt had a car this new before and im unsure of a few things.

My first task is to replace a blown headlight but cant even find my way to do that.

Could anyone assist me?

Any suggestions for other upgrades would be appreciated. Thanks!

I hope to learn a lot from this site.

Unless you have small hands, the best bet is to loosen or remove the front bumper. Makes getting to the headlights very easy. Sounds like a lot, but pretty easy had to do it my 2004 a couple of times. Check out the DYI section for 1st generation models, lots of great information there. Also, it will help you out with any upgrades you are thinking of. Good luck with your 6.

Welcome to the forum! I've been able to replace both left and right headlight bulbs from the engine compartment. It's a bugger, but doable.

Welcome to the forum!

Agreed with the guys above me - it's possible to do it without removing anything, but can be a pain.

Removing the bumper sounds daunting but after you've done it a few times you can get it done in 10-15 minutes no problem.
