Other than aesthetics and imaginary hp gains, I'd be genuinely interested if this can help keep my car cleaner for longer periods of time.

You'll be fine overall. The 3M tape will not damage your paint when it comes time to take it off, and it will stay on until you want to take it off. Make sure to clean the surface before putting it on..

@bja72774 In your pics it looks like the spoiler goes much closer to the ends of the trunk lid, where as the other persons picture has about a 2 inch gap on both ends. Where did you buy your spoiler from??

I think the difference you are seeing is just the angle of the picture. Either way I ordered from EBAY:

@Jaggrey....My jury couldnt be convinced either(my wife), but shes out of town this weekend so Im sure I can get in on the car while she is gone and she will never know the difference
