All-season tire suggestions?

I have Conti DWS all-season on the RX-8 rims now, but after how they treated me trying to get a tire warrantied, I will never buy their tires again.

What do you guys suggest for some good all-seasons?

Anyone have experience with any of these 3? I'm leaning toward the BFGs after looking at a lot of reviews on several tires.

From these I'd prefer the Michelin over the BFG's, but at an almost $40 per tire price difference it's a tough call, and frankly I'd probably get the BFG's and use that ~$150 for something else....

Either should be comparable with the DWS, which is a great tire to be sure but about due for an update- they used to be best in class, but there are several "just as good" out there now including the two noted above.

I'd probably take the BFGs because of cost. I probably won't notice the performance difference. I have the Conti's right now.

$40 difference per for a tire made by the same company. Isn't it crazy Eric? You are paying for the name. Just like Goodyear/Dunlop or what used to be "Fierce." Same compounds and construction with little variations.

It really is- in this case you'd be hard pressed to find the difference between them, and it's hard to spot the differences in personal reviews since so many folks tend to speak highly of an expensive product/brand name....

I see that attitude all over the bmw world which appears to be the home of overpriced mods. I recently upgraded part of my intake system (charge pipe) from plastic OE part to aluminum, paid $129 for the part- fits & works great, but going average cost for the same from any of the popular brands/vendors is in the 250-350 range. Same darn thing or in some cases lower quality and for a part that's been on the market for 10+ years... ((sigh...))

Yea, I don't miss that BMW tax, but I do miss my 335xi sometimes. Same thing with Corvettes. The Vette tax is insane. $1,000+ for a damn axle-back? GTFO! The Z06 should be sold on Saturday anyway.

Thanks! I'd like to finally get into a resto mod 65-67 Chevelle, but I like so many cars who knows.

I'd also like to use part of the sale $ to turbo the Miata or go BT on the MS6, but I want more than 400 AWHP so that means build motor & drop several grand. Blah!

I've got some WTB ads up for a used complete turbo kit for the Miata. If I can get a good deal, it'll be hard to not do it.

Definitely too much $ for me to buy my dream Chevelle complete so I'd be looking for something that at least already has an LS motor & modern trans in it. Don't need a show car, I'd be driving it as much as possible.
