I was between the 6 and the q and well yes the q has so much more power than the 6. I was reluctant on getting it since it was a automatic only but I really like it, even though I didn't opt for the S model that had different suspension, bigger brakes, 19" wheels (could have gotten them on this one, but didn't have any available) and slightly more aggressive front bumper. Also didn't get the new drive by wire steering they have on some models but that might be for the better as there are some issues with it.

But I think Mazda is stupid for putting the same engine in the 3 and 6. They really need to give the 6 something bigger to get the zoom zoom back, I don't think the diesel will cut it if it ever gets released.

I was told at the dealership by a visiting VP the new diesel wont be out till as a 2016 model. she said they are plenty busy selling small suv's and cars right now. ie. the new cx5 and mazda 2-3

we'll see what else is out there in 3 years when my lease is up. Can't wait to see what kind of engine they put in the Q50 Eau Rouge when they show it off again at Geneva Auto show. Some kind of turbo'd v6, perhaps similar to GT-R engine.

wow infiniti made the ms6 before mazda did, lol. the q50 and the new mazda 6 are so identical design wise. now you look at that q50 concept and its even more apparant, just look at that rear diffuser, (looks familiar doesnt it, lol). but if they choose the right motor and hopefully a manual option, i would get that car in a heartbeat! but i think the price is gonna be a bit high. somewhere between 50-60k.
