Hi. I thank you guys for your patience in letting me start this project when i was ready.
i would like to start making and shipping decals for the forum.
i made this design for my car:
i'm 38 and wanted something mature and subtle, so i made that to look OEM-ish and i made it in etch glass vinyl.
i see there are a few designs floating around the forum. i'm interested to know what you all want, design wise. if you see a picture of a design on here you like, show me and i can redraw it. if you want to make your own from scratch, inkscape is a free program that will allow you to design them yourself. i can also provide the files i have so you may modify them to your liking.
- Colors/Material: I have a plethora of different colors of vinyl on hand. i have solid colors, metallic colors, i can print colors, i have an anthracite carbon fiber. white shows up best on glass. if you don't have tinted windows, i can also cut in reverse so you can apply them inside. if you want reflective, i recommend keeping it on glass. reflective vinyl is a nightmare to remove from paint. i can also print colors, fades, pictures, etc.. i can even stick them on magnetic material if you want something removable. my goal is to have you all end up with exactly what you want.
- Pricing: $10 per order. for that i will pay shipping(in the US), and send you extras, and can even send a couple sizes if you'd like. this isn't to make me money, more as a thank you because i joined the forum for mazda 6 help and advice.
- Sizing :i need help with sizing. i have a 2004 6s. any car besides that, i'll need a little guidance. you can send a picture of where you want it and i can scale it on screen and show you a rendering.
so please let me know what you all want, and we'll get these going.
this is my new toy. a brand new roland truevis SG540 which prints and cuts. i also purchased a cold laminator to go along with it. soon after i purchased it, they told me my shop was too dusty, the floor wasn't level, the temperature needed top be constant, the humidity controlled, and i couldn't have a breeze. my shop is an old dusty drafty non insulated concrete block building where i work and make signs, so i built it a clean room in my basement(althoiugh i do have a couple vinyl sutters at my shop). i kick out the best quality you'll find anywhere because i'm passionate about what i do. no cricut quality etsy stuff coming from me.
lets do this. -robert
