So I have this problem with cars.... cool stuff sold over seas

I can't stop screwing with them and finding new shit that even amazes me. I have recently hooked up with a "guy" in J-land and he is willing to import me just about anything I want, short of needing to be shipped in a container. (he would probably ship me a car too, but I have another guy for that)

anyway, I have been trolling several sites that are only accessible in Japanese and stumbled into this.......

Car Mazda Atenza
Vehicle Model GG3S/ES GY3W
Model year 03.08 to 05.06
Material Urethane resin
Color Black (urethane material color)
Brand TRUST (Greddy for those playing at home)
Product Code 17040111

Now to my knowledge nothing has ever been produced state side by Greddy for our platform other than exhaust and it was short run at that. I have found, springs, struts bars, sway bars, and all kinds of stuff from Trust/Greddy, Apexi, Blitz, Kazama, and others for what IMO is dirt cheap.

The best part of this part however is not the name. The best part is it is urethane which is ultra flexible and resilient. All we have state side currently is FG stuff that in time will flake and chip. Anyone who has a BR lip can tell you how annoying this is.

now here is the kicker. Shipping isn't cheap, but when I can pick up a glass lense 1G head light for $63 or less.... I might just have to order some stuff.

Also very curious if one of these will work with our USDM CPUs. there are about 40 different models F/s Right now on their version of eBay, and made by companies like HKS, blitz, and Trust....
http://page12.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/j...ion/p329681564

Will open this thread and share as I and others discover new cool parts we didn't get.... but might be willing to pay to get.

PS for those who don't care to google it. Right now 1 yen = 1 US cent.... so 100yen=$1. exchange rates are tits right now, and make me want to spend a ton of money on the 6 and the 13(already ordered 2 things for the 13 and potentially an entire nismo arm set).

Wait... Are you saying we'd be ordering this stuff through you or are you going to be putting links to the stuff in this thread? I'm totally interested in some glass lens headlights (esp at that price!). Any idea how the model years translate from US to JP (since 06-08 USDM headlights differ from pre-06.). Trying hard not to get my hopes up too high though!

I'm just throwing up links and images of cool shit I find. I can hook you up with a broker who speciailizes in placing the bid and handling. I don't want anything to do with handling money....

my wife doesn't even trust me to do that.

Just want to share the neat things we didn't get state side that are in fact accessible for USDM owners if you make contact with a legit broker.

As for the price, $63 bucks covers the cost of the light, then there is shipping and handling, and the fee for them to handle the business. I would imagine that you could add on an extra $200 easy (just a guess) for a pair of head lights shipped to the states.

USDM head lights are all the same. the only "Difference" is intergrated fogs (which can work on a non-equiped car very easily) and those with Motorized Head lights. The lenses on all models (the glass part, which is actually the only real benefit of none USDM head lights) are all identical and could be moved from the JDM to the USDM back housings in less than 30 mins of work.

this is not something I'm familiar with, but will be happy to search for one if you can provide me with an idea of what I'm looking for.

The lower side splitters on the outside of the front bumper? are they add on's or are they apart of the bumper?

I can do some digging and see what I can find. those are actually pretty damn sweet looking. If they work on your car, they might work on the NA's as well.... would be real cool if someone imported those and had Nextmod or someone replicate them.

I don't think they'd fit the NA cars without modification.

I think the part#s for these splitters are
front air dam side L: 8D0252930
GP9A519L1
front air dam side R: 8D0252910
GP9A519H1A
