Cleaning rear window 17 plate sedan

Hi

Anyone else have trouble getting the rear window crystal clear? There's always streaks on the inside. Outside I've clayed and polished it and pretty sure it's clear, inside though... I use waffle weave towels, stoners invisible glass. Still not clear. Beginning to wonder if it's a problem in the tint that came from the factory.

Cheers

Andy

Well, I use the same thing as you and am not having issues. It is honestly a pain in the ass though. Make sure the window isn't in direct sunlight, spray your cleaner, and just rub rub rub. Get a dry cloth, buff buff buff. As long as you have high quality cloths you should be ok.

I have used "Sprayaway" Glass Cleaner and "Rain-X". Each is quite different.
Sprayaway is an excellent glass cleaner, that leaves no glass streaks or film.
Rain-X leaves an invisible film that makes water bead up and roll away.
But I doubt the problem is your cleaner. I suspect it's the towels. Try cleaning with an unused disposable towel. If you are using a washed towel, it may have traces of fabric softener and scented detergent in it.
The rear window has the steeper angle you look through. It often is also the last window you get to.
