Unhappy Radio and bluetooth simultaneously

Hello,

I'm using my smartphone as GPS in my Mazda 2015 touring model and I like to listen to the radio. However, when I enable my BT to connect with the car, I either need to choose for the BT option in the audio as such that I can listen to my GPS or I chose the radio and then there is no GPS sound. Is there a way that I can tell the audio system that the BT is master, the radio is slave, but when the master kicks in, the radio should diminish its volume as such that the bluetooth spoken text from my gps is clearly understandable.

You can't listen to two different sources of audio (Radio/Bluetooth) at the same time in these cars. Someone else posted a similar question sometime ago so I'll give you the same suggestion I gave them.

Use Bluetooth for your GPS app directions and run the TuneIn Radio app in the background to listen to local radio stations at the same time, that way your smartphone handles the volumes of both things when necessary. It will use up mobile data to stream the radio stations but it may be the only way to get what you want.

If you have an Android smartphone, another thing you might try is using the "SoundAbout" app to redirect the GPS audio out through the phone speaker even though it's connected to the car via bluetooth.

This would be a nice feature to have.

On Android, Google Maps has a setting to disable Audio over bluetooth. That will keep the GPS audio through the phone speaker.
