Wow that got here fast! Works perfectly, far better than changing the stereo and far cheaper.

b1lk1, You make any moves on a nav unit for your 6? I recently hacked up my upper bin to custom-mount a cheap Asus tablet, works and looks pretty good. Might have to upgrade the tablet at some point, this particular model doesn't get extremely bright, the display washes out with the sun pretty easily. But a cool cheap mod, total investment was ~$65 for the tablet and a couple hours of my time modifying the bin.

I may eventually fabricate or 3D print some side pieces to fully "enclose" the upper bin to look more like a stock unit, fully hiding the charge wire on the side.

I'm seriously thinking about doing that. I don't have a pocket, my car already has a broken Ebay nav system there. I also have a tablet that is no longer in active use that would work quite nicely too, lol.

That's the one I got my eye on, I really like how the screen is fixed, no moving parts to break there.

I have a plan to install a tablet into the stock navya pop up display. I have two... one from a 2006 and one from a 2004 (euro purchase). I bought the euro display for the correct info screen and the 06 because it had the factory mounting bracket. I'm not likely to get to this till the winter though. I'm excited to make it go though. This was the impetuous for the purchase of the aux mod.
