Question How f'd am i...

Well. My 82k 03' 6s has been a piece of shit the last two weeks. Just Friday, i replaced my radiator and power steering belt. Today, i got a CEL and code P0431....which is "warm up catalyst system efficiency below threshold".
It says it could be an exhaust leak and i checked and couldn't find anything. the other possibility is a faulty cat convertor. anyone have this problem? if it is the cat how much am i looking at to get it fixed? thanks!

could be the cat, could be the sensor itself.

we have an accessory belt which does the alternator, AC compressor, and PS.... not just a PS belt.
