If you had an R34 SKYLINE Would you paint it like this???

https://youtu.be/Y8cEoXZp_-o

Hey guys, I know I have another thread where I discuss cars I've been blessed enough to work with but I wanted to get some thoughts on this Skyline since it's not a car most of us see on the regular. This was my first international collaboration so I was pretty excited. The car is owned by a guy in Sweden and was a show car built clearly to promote the Resident Evil franchise. He has other plans for it, honestly he bought the car with this paintjob and is covering it after he goes widebody, but what do you guys all think? Any RE lovers out there? Or if you had to pick a movie/show to promote like this what would you pick?

Only thing I could come close to considering would be TMNT on my rx8 but probably just with colour references to each turtle, I don't think I could ever go THIS bold.

Give the video a watch and let me know what you think!

Check out the cars on my YouTube channel:

The paint is cool, but the chrome finish on the wheels and the lazy eyelids on the headlights, all together as a package with that paint finish is making me feel queasy.

My idea of a car is a clean, minimalistic design that looks good without being flashy and attracting attention. Which is not this R34.

I fully agree, and it's crazy kinda because the guys previous car was a wicked clean R33 (they get all the good cars, overseas ...not fair) but hopefully once his actual build takes off it will look sick. It will still be the base purple of this paintjob but with a clean bodykit and hopefully less flashy wheels. I can appreciate the effort and talent to PAINT something like this as opposed to printing a wrap, but I prefer clean too.

Wheels are a cool design and suit the look of the car, the chrome finish on them reverses that and makes everything look like shit.

Oh I always appreciate the time and effort put into a project, just not always the end result

Keep us up to date on his progress.

Ugh... as a long time fan on the GT-R (maybe one day I will own one, even if it is the R35...) so much wrong...

First - yeah, you like Resident Evil, but to pick scenes from the sh1tty movie instead of the video game...

Second - holy wheel gap batman! Never get aftermarket wheels without a decent drop. Oh, and the wheels are meh.

Third, the body kit is a bit over the top. I get standing out, but the R34 already stands out.

In conclusion, I third Byakuya's 'Poor R34' comment.
