Can we post pictures of how phone holders look like on the 6?

Seriously, with so many options out there. I'm yet to find a proper holder without reviews saying that it ruins the dash, breaks the vents. It seem the only option where it won't do any damage is on the windshield, but it sticks out and doesn't look that great, almost as if you are uber driver or something lol

This video explains perfectly the enigma of phone holders

The best phone holder i have is my Pocket. I see no reason for a phone to be out while driving.

I use Google maps all the time. That's the main reason I need a proper holder

I purchased a cupholder-mounted phone holder for my '10, which worked very well.

With my '18, my phone is sitting inside the cupholder, without the holder.

It turns out that the holder pretty much blocks off the use of the commander knob, so it's useless.

I use Waze quite often, especially when I'm working, so I'm waiting patiently for Android Auto to be available, and hopefully skipping out on buying a suitable phone holder.

I used a vent-mount in my 3 but it wasn't deep enough to reach the recessed vents in my new 6.
Found this Powerology mount my local Bell store. It works almost the same way as the old one did (magnet mount) but has a swivel head mechanism, which is nice. Has a little wobble, which isn't the best but overall it works.
It also doesn't block the air flow, which is a bonus.

It was 5 bucks, so I felt like it was good enough.

I feel like once CarPlay comes, this will no longer be used. Especially when we're able to use GoogleMaps via CarPlay.

Do you have a CD player? I hear lots of makes are dropping them from the newer cars. But if you do - I LOVE the Mount-tec phone holder. It slides into the CD slot and mounts very securely. I've been using the same one for about 5 years, first with my Speed6, and now in my Audi A5. I highly recommend that brand.

Is this gonna be available for 2014-2015? I doubt it.

Have the '18 owners heard anything about the official Android Auto release yet?

I just got Android Auto working in my '17 with the Mazda AIO Tweaks app, it's a little buggy but I get maps on my screen now which is perfect.
As for phone holders, my boyfriend has one that mounts in the CD tray for his car and it works wonderfully, I can't say how it would look on a '14-'15 though.

every phone holder amazon has reviews of breaking. Those dash mount are crap, they stop suctioning/sticking to the dash even if you wash them, game over. Those windshield, also crap that sooner or later will stop sticking and is game over

The air vents work for a while, but it will break the vents of many cars due to the weight of modern phones.

Same for cd phone holder, something breaks and it doesn't fit anymore

The magnet are good, but is pointless if the point of ATTACHMENT is crap and it will break, what good does the magnet do if the plastic thing cannot HOLD to whatever area you are connecting to the car

Pretty much I have concluded 99% of phone holders suck ass I'm yet too find a good one without bad reviews.

Kuda mount seems to be the only mount that would keep the phone there, but the position is terrible.

Maybe you should set the phone in the cupholder and worry about watching the road instead. Problem solved an it was cheap too.
