i think the plural of focus is foci....


i feel like VW's and other german cars have always got ambient lighting right in the cabin. look up where the dome lights are on most of these cars and there's an amber/red bulb w/ just the right amount of light onto the center console.

i think even my 2005 mazda 3 has some lightining under the center dash/hvac onto the shifter area that helps.

Cheap EL light for a temporary fix.

My cheap (and temporary) solution was a battery powered EL light (found on eBay), cut to length and taped into place. I like the quality of light, but the solution is a kludge.

STG....kid's (anyone under 40) are afriad of the dark.
