The revival of Mazdaspeed... If I had a dollar for everytime someone would mention this, I'd be riched. It has been talked about all over to death. Really sad to see that Mazda does not intend to continue building performance cars. They are focusing their rather limited budgeting toward a different direction to maximize profits - focusing on building good crossovers and SUV's to satisfy the north-american market and continue building their name here.

Hey, its a "wish list." If all I wished for was what they wanted to make...what would be the point? <img src="http://forum.mazda6club.com/images/Mazda6Club_2014/smilies/tango_face_wink.png" border="0" alt="" title="Wink" class="inlineimg" />
All I want is Mazda’s RWD SKY concept sedan with a 3.8L compression ignition inline 6 &#x1f642;

Mazda predicts their 2L compression ignition motor will make 188hp and 170ft/lb of torque. That means the 2.5L will make 235hp and 212.5ft/lb, 352hp and 318.75 ft/lb of torque if they were to make a 3.8L straight 6. Mazda says the powerband and torque delivery will be extremely broad and flat, meaning they can shorten the gearing and final drive ratio while still upping fuel economy. An inline 6, especially a large displacement one would respond incredibly well to such technology and feel faster than it really is. Plus I’m sure Mazda can tune it less conservatively than the 4 cylinders.

I'd simply like the option of buying a new Mazda 6.

Unfortunately, I live in South Africa and Mazda SA withdrew the 6 from their catalogue.

The good news is that my 2007 2.3l Individual is still going fine.

That's just... not acceptable!

I'd move.

I for one hope they retain the analog gauges. I'm sick of all the TFT garbage. This tech nonsense in cars has gotten way out of hand IMO. I want a car not a rolling server. Give me a great car with analog gauges, the safety doodads, and a great stereo system option.
I'll bite.

Well after seeing the 2019 Mazda3 I’m hoping in the next year or two we see a bigger version of the 3 sedan. I like the body and love the simplistic interior. The AWD is a nice touch as well. As far as power train I think the skyactiv-x or 2.5 Turbo would be nice.

A four door liftback sedan would be perfect for Mazda, especially if it's offered with AWD. Not to mention there's none on offer from the other Japanese brands. They'd take a lot of buyers from the A5 & 5 Series etc. as well as gain a few from those that can't afford the Euro brands.

- Auto-dimming for ALL the mirrors.
- Power-down (and up) windows and moonroof from the keyfob and/or the outside button.
- A small closing cubby/drawer to the left of the steering column for loose change
- hooks in the trunk for plastic bags
- the ability to unlock the door just from grabbing the door handle, instead of also having to hit the button.

These were all features I enjoyed on my '10 that are NOT on my current 6.

I drove my 2009 mazda6 GT for 7 years and this is exactly what I had in mind. I love the 2018 GT I have now, but this is a wish list!

A lot of good points from other members too.

Wagon, stick. Turbo and/or AWD would be nice but not critical.

Manual transmissions, wagons, and heavy metal are awesome. Zoom-Zoom \m/
