CorkSport 2014 Mazda6 Exhaust Drive Around

I was able to have a friend take a quick video for me. Found an empty parking lot, and this is what I got.

CorkSport 2014 Mazda6 Exhaust Take off and Acceleration - YouTube

Now that I have a couple hundred miles on the exhaust in 3 days, this is what I have come up with:

-The sound is incredible. Now that all is good with the fitment (had to adjust a hanger slightly), the sound is muted in the cabin, and not at all annoying. Didn't realize that it touching the heatshield could transmit so much noise into the cabin.

-There is very little power gain, but it is noticeable. During the takeoff part on the video, I reached approximately 50mph in that short distance before I ran out of parking lot. Also, I have the air conditioning on full blast (oops!). That would explain the slow takeoff.

-This is exhaust only - I have no other mods to the powertrain. I am looking forward to installing an intake as soon as a quality one is widely available.

-MPG's are down by 2. This could be the result of me driving a little bit harder than before. The sound is just too good. I will keep my eye on this, but after a tank of gas, 2mpg's looks like a solid number. I'm still in the low 30's for mostly "city" driving.

-If you're watching this video without a subwoofer, you are not getting the true sound of this exhaust. Watching it on a phone or tablet completely wipes out the low frequencies this exhaust puts out.

I am fortunate to be their beta tester. Don't know what the delay is, but the exhaust will be available in August. Pretty much a year since I've had mine.

Others have complained of slight drone steady state highway cruising.
Thoughts on this?

Also, what hitch are you running?

I really like the look of the look the dual muffler corksport, but it cost so much more than the racing beat. plus can just go buy and pick up the racing beat system at the warehouse since they are located in LA

I notice that when my A/C is on the transmission is more reluctant to downshift when i mash the throttle, compared to when the A/C is off

Yes!

It also affects gas mileage.

The only exception might be with i-Eloop (if the AC is running off the capacitor).
