Engine swap?

So im actually pretty new to moded cars but have done a little looking around. As of right now im in a completely stock 2012 MAZDA 6 its a base model so sadly im only running with a 4-cylinder. I really want to swap something in but have no idea what will fit. The hope is to swap in a 2jz or rb26, i love the straight 6 twin turbo engine but am wondering if the car can hold it, now i know ill have to either switch to Rwd or Awd which is another thing that I want but i am wondering if the 2jz will fit?

Welcome to the forum!

I know the 2nd generation engine bay is pretty large, but I'd have to say that if you're asking whether or not it will fit, you might be in over your head.

Swapping an entire engine out, especially one from a different car, is not something you can just do because you feel like it. It takes an incredible amount of knowledge and some deep pockets to do what you're thinking. Anything is possible with money, but I'd say you're better off modding your current engine or looking to buy a V6 Mazda.

An "easy" swap would be something from the same generation (2006-2012) Fusion. It would still be an immense amount of time, money, blood, sweat, tears, etc. Engine swaps are not for the faint of heart, even if you're just swapping in a different engine of the same model. Nevermind something from an entirely different platform. As much as I love the 6, I'm not sure it's the best option for something like a 2JZ.
