I assume 1,000 miles is still a good time for the first oil change on the 2nd gen M6.

We just got to 2K miles on our 2011 i Touring purchased in late September. In days past I would drive the hell out of a new car (redline shifts aplenty) and make the first change at 1500, then change to synthetic at around 10,000-15,000 miles. Anecdotal stuff I've been reading makes me think it's OK to change to full synthetic right now? I'm not sure. I *think* I would like to try switching to Mobil 1 0W-20 AFE pretty soon. Yay or Nay?
