do a search...... seems 6s people seem to feel it does while 6i seems it doesn't. But its matter or perspective.

It's a hung jury, I'm afraid. I did the mod, and I cannot say it made much difference. That's not to say you won't have better results. I think when we find a somewhat cheaper way to open up the exhaust, everyone will see an improvement in throttle response more so than the ground mod.

The ground mod is cheap and easy, and it can't hurt, so give it a whirl and tell us if it worked for you.

i did the airbox and grounding at the sametime.....after doing it....the car seem it's smoother and a little bit faster.......plus there is no lag when i step on the gas.....it just goes right away.....

The current issue of the AAA, "Car and Travel" (pg 20) has an interesting comment regarding the 2004 Acura 3.5RL... Tell me if this sounds familiar:

"The ultra-smooth engine propels the vehicle smartly, except for throttle lag, a regrettable trait in many modern sedans with automatic transmissions designed for meximum fuel economy. Stomp the throttle and the automatic transmission takes a couple of seconds (seems like an eternity) to respond with a downshift and rapid acceleration - not a good trait when trying to merge into highway traffic. A sport mode for the transmission would assist immeasurably."
