aftermarket heated seats -- where to mount switch?

Hey all, I just installed aftermarket heated seats on my truck and now want to tackle the job on my 2016 Touring (MT) 6. For those who have added aftermarket heated seats, where are you mounting the switches? Pics would be appreciated!

Mine are mounted on the side of the seats about two inches towards the brake pedal when measuring from the power seat recline lever. It is enough out of sight it doesn't stick out that it's not OEM but still very accessible from the seated position.

I would be forever in your debt if you could snap a pic?

Not a 6 but mounted in the same location as seen in this pic of an install done on a f150.

I think it would be cool if you could mount the switches and include them in the center console.

Center console would be ideal, but I’m really not seeing a good spot for that?

This is a pretty simple and tidy aftermarket location. In the center console would be harder in my opinion as the switches would not look factory. This almost blends in as it is and is easy enough to reach.

I ended up using that location on both front seats. Came out really clean. Will post some pics once I get around to it.

There are definitely a LOT of hog rings on those covers. Holy smokes.

Ugh. So as you can see from the pic above I “went for it” and put the heating pad over the passenger seat bottom... the one with the occupancy sensor.

Now, with the seat all buttoned back up, the sensor is registering as if someone is sitting there all the time. So if the seatbelt isn’t clipped, I get 33 chimes nagging me to buckle up.

With a passenger in the seat (who is wearing their seatbelt) its no prob. But while driving solo the first minute or so is a little maddening.

Thoughts on what to do here?

(Wife is very pleased with a warm seat fwiw).
