Alright there are a few of us with MT's that went through hell with the backup cam. The headunit reads the reverse signal from the Canbus, but apparently that only works with automatics. Our cars need to get the signal from the actual reverse switch wire. Who was your seller? He should send you a new set of wires that has a 12v-6v converter in line.

I can't help you any more with the Bose stuff, but get in touch with the seller and let him know that you need the stuff for the backup cam on a manual transmission car and post up here with questions. This is something that should be resolved before more MTX owners jump on this headunit.

I've managed to get the audio and the camera to work, but now a new issue has happened.
The back and home buttons on the table part stopped responding and the power button mutes the sound. (see the youtube video attached), and the buttons around the commander knob stopped working. The knob itself is working (left, right, up and down to change stations on the radio).

I've managed to get my bose amp to work by twisting and connecting the wires without connectors labeled amp-con, and the rear view camera on a manual transmission by connecting the cam line cable with the one circled in the picture attached.

On the other note, have you guys been able to override the default apps that launch when you press the radio or phone buttons?
And also, any good apps with a tuner and with or without mp3 player in the same app, and any good dialers to replace the stock one?

Hey guys. So I bought and installed this HU and cannot get the back up camera to work. I have a '15 Touring, non Bose, MTX. I'm pretty sure I've hooked it up correctly, but I was supplied a Bose harness that does not connect anywhere, and another black cord that connects to the HU but has a black connector that does not hook up to anything.

I did what grothar here did, and connected the white and red reverse signal wire to the cam line wire on the HU via some bullet connectors with no luck. Any other ideas or input? Here's a pic of my unused harnesses. Left to right- DVD in harness, unknown, Bose harness. Thanks!

It looks like this unit has similar specs, but it's not from the same seller we have bought from. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Big-D...548895138.html Try this link. If the hyperlink doesn't work, just hit quick reply to this and copy the full url from the text box.

Just updated this unit with the IQ Navi 0.1.24 firmware. I didn't do a factory reset so all my apps and setting stayed. A couple of changes to the radio and music apps but the best thing is the new dialer app. Google now dialing now works instead of opening the bluetooth app. Now I have hands-free dialing again.

**Note: not responsible for any damages due to failed firmware updates.** Link to the firmware below:

Put both files into a USB stick and go to system > general > system update. Unit will reboot and flash firmware.

So I received my headunit from smart rover and plugged everything in even the amp con to amp con for the Bose to work. But unfortunately I don't have the app to change vehicle settings. As well when I open my doors it doesn't show on my HU. Could this be because of a bad canbus decoder?
