Hello everyone,
I signed this petition where there were about 1,500 people and I am so happy for this news!

Today I went for my first 4month/5,000 mile checkup (I am in the Mazda Total Advantage Plan) and the service rep told me that there was a recall so I suddenly got excited thinking it was for the infotainment system.
But as some have already pointed out, I just want to confirm that the update you receive at the dealer is for the navigation ONLY.

We still need to wait a bit for the infotainment system. And also, they are fully aware of the complaints and the problems. The guy told me that usually it takes 3-4 months after these things get released for it to reach the dealerships. I don't know how much trust I should put into this person.

At least we have hope and at least we know that they are aware. I look forward to very good news this summer! Let's all be patient (:

I was wondering about that, too.

EDIT:
Looks like it's just same as this:

After getting the firmware update for the navigation, I also noticed in addition to the above that it "feels" a bit quicker to move around the menu's. It could be my imagination though.

Any news on this? Is Mazda really going to do something with these issues?

Well I hope so. It sucks to be not on par with other brands when it comes to the infotainment experience.

Well I got the nav recall update but now the traffic updates don't work. Also the only difference I notice is that it always says the lock out message like every time I take off from a stop. At least the car icon stays on the road and points in the right direction. I'm taking the car in to have them look at the reason why the traffic updates don't work on Wed

Guys, I just updated my Mazda6's software to version 10.852. Seems okay after a few days now and it feels a little faster to calculate routes. Map browsing is still unusually slow. Next step is to change the SD card to a faster card.

Have you instructions on how to do that?
I bought a faster card but when I copy the contents from the original it won't work in the Sat nav. Am I missing something?
