Funny, I thought about this long and hard a year ago lol. From what I was told was that if you have the brake light mod, these lights will only work for the outer brake lamps IIRC. The ones in the trunk will not work based on the technology on the leds. I think there is something like ball bearings that make the lights go on and off. Plus you'll need at least 2 resistors for the LEDs to flash. But that is what I recall, not fact :P .

But bottom line, I didn't do it because it was hella expensive to buy all those bulbs! LOL.

Try searching for that old thread in the electrical section. But if you do get them, post the pics bro!

naaaaaaaay !!! It's those kinds of lights that in traffic in front of ya that keep getting flashed on/off on your nerves
They had those similar on Chrysler products' third brake lights and got pulled off the market real fast !
I being a person who hates anything repeating whether it be a flasher illuminating on/off or the sound of it in my car - that's why I only put it on when the yellow traffic light comes on .... I know I'm not the only one here with this attitude as it's not the first time it'S discussed here .

Aha, I am just developping the flasher. but it is for LED brake only. Because the flashing rate will be 6 per second. The tungsten bulb will not get warm enough to give light during flashing.
It will keep flashing 1.5 seconds and then come solid.
And it is very very easy to install.

If I were following you, I'd hope to be driving my old Chevy Caprice.......which would let me ram you hard enough to break those annoying things out.

Just teasing, but seriously it would be a terribly annoying thing to have in front of you in traffic.

That is going to distract someone enough that they are going to plow into the back of you.

2005 Mazda 6i MTX - Pebble Ash. Bone stock, and it will probably stay that way.

Transmission failure due to improperly (factory) installed dowel pin at 65k.
Alternator failure at 75k.
Engine failure due to known engine problems at 81k.
Seat foam failure repeatedly, another known issue, at 48k and 65k.

Good job, Mazda, you've manage to drive away another customer.
