Thumbs up

Hey guys. I just my my 5000K 50watt HID Kit from Apexone. I've come to realize that to install the kit I have to remove the headlamps, thus removing the bumper. Can anyone give me a quick "how to" remove the front bumper and headlamp housings. Unless there is a way to install the kit without removing the headlamps. I am anxious to install them, but a little nervous to remove the bumper. Thanks to anyone who responds.

Here you go.
Definitely remove the bumper and head lights. Also do the glare mod, IMO. No worries on removing the bumper. It seems daunting. But it is very easy.
Search out threads. This has been discussed many times.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I plan on doing the install and mod this weekend. By the way... doe the glare mod affect the light beam... meaning, will this mod decrease, increase, or have no effect on road illumination.

I did the glare mod on mine and I love it. I've seen hid's without the glare mod first hand so I wouldnt know how to describe the difference but there is plenty of light on the road. Many people have said that you may want to adjust your lights a little higher to illuminate the road signs. I didnt do this as I didnt really have a problem with the road signs. By the way, my hid's are 35W, so your 55W will probably look a lot better.
