HI.
owned my mazda 6 2.3L luxury hatch for about 3 months now. and just one problem the abs, cig lighter, handbrake light are not working. i know there is a second computer or module that controls these. where abouts is it and where do icheck to see if its plugged in or?????

Check your fuses under your dash, drivers side besides the kick panel or under the hood. If all fails, take a trip to the dealer/service and get it checked.

have checked all fuses there all good. ran diagnostics on the ecu and the other module that controls abs was not responding so somewhere along the line something is not plugged in. id like to know where to look.

anybody know?? ok. where is the abs control unit? is it in the dash somewhere or in a kick panel?

i have a same problem with my cig lighter, still i have no answers.
i keep checking the fuse, but that not the problem.

yes. there is a seperate module which could be near the ecu i dont know. but that seperate module controls the abs, cig lighter, handbrake light and few other things. i jsutwant to know where it is. or where the abs module is someone has to know where that is?

Do you have a CAI? Did you check your ABS harness that is wrapped around he CAI?

no dont have a CAI. i will check on the weekend properly again, i had an idea ill also check to make sure the sensors are plugged on in the rear. i dont know why they wouldnt be but ill check it out. and ill check the harness as well in to the abs unit.
