i want to order the Raptor edition angel eyes that RPM is selling and i was just wondering if the wiring harness is necessary? my plan is to remove the 194 bulbs and sockets that are in the highbeams and use those pos/nes wires.....thanks !!

you don't have to remove the stock 194 just tap the wire to pos and neg check my sig you see the stock yellow 194 still in it

ok, but i dont care about the parking light anyway...i havent had a bulb in there for over a year....im just going to cut the socket off if thats all i need to do.

so block8head, what ur saying is that i dont need the wiring harness correct? i dont want to have to deal with a wiring harness that has to connect directly to the battery if i can get away without it.

You need to tap the parking light to give the relay a signal to turn on.
Power will still need to come from either the battery, or the constant power buss in the under hood fuse box (what I used).
The wiring harness that comes with the kit is a must use item.
I think if you were to wire them straight to the parking light power, you might be feeding the halo's too much power.
But I could be wrong on that last statement.
As for me, I wired them up as per instructions given in the pinned thread.

maybe you got different kit the one i got only come with two wire which is allow you to tap to your parking lights wire not the battery .that is what i'm trying to tell you that you dun need to cut your parking lights socket ...but if you dun want your parking lights ,yes you can cut the socket and use those wire.......just try to help
