i took pics of two different projectors that i lit up in my room using the same d2s bulb and the same power source. just posting the pics to show what difference a projector can really make!

first pic is of a bixenon Infiniti FX35 hid projector
second pic is of a Honda s2000 hid projector.

again, used the same bulbs and the same ballasts and the same power source. i let both lights warm up and took shots at the same time of night in the same room. the s2k prj is sick. you cant really see it in the pic, but the bluish/purple cut off is amazing. the cut-off is so much sharper too. i mean, the fx35 prj is still great compared to hid kits using halogen projectors, but just giving the new guys that want to retro something to think about.

dont mind my incredibly messy room, and the baby blue paint i picked out when i moved into the house when i was 5 haha

Yeah, that s2000 is pretty much the best projector out there. It'd take some doing to get it to work, but I'm sure you could.

LOL I was going to preach for the TSX , Kansas !
Benz30 and I compared his FX stock to my TSX and as Kansas's pics show it is a night & day cut-off difference !
Acura TSX prjs. FTW !!! as they are a little over half-the-price of the S2K's (300 but seen them at 350 as they are coveted prjs.)
TSX are the next best thing - a very very close match indeed !
For Bi-Xenons - go with Acura TL's - they are THE best out there in light output and cut-off sharpness + coloring - going for as low as 250ish sometimes

hmmm acura tl's you say? ill look into those. just one question tho. does it matter if i mix and match projectors and ballasts? for instance, the TL prj with nisan ballasts... i have nisan ballasts bc i got the infiniti prj, so i figured thatd be fine.
so does it matter if i used acura prj's with nisan ballast?

as long as it's 35w and 35w, a ballast is a ballast.
