Before I get flamed, I'd like to say I read every how-to I found and the headlight setups of halogen shown are not the same as the stock HID setup That said, has anyone changed the bulbs on their stock HID system? If so, how?

Thanks!

I said $^&# it and took off the bumper. Wasn't that hard and I can do it now with my eyes closed which will come in handy w/ my new FMIC setup I'm constructing. If you have small enough hands u can get in there and twist em out, but good look w/ that, lol.

Also, to let u know, 8000K's on our cars (with the present projector housing) look more like 6000K's on ur average car w/ clear headlight housings and no projectors. Our projectors tend to dim things down a bit. I could get you pics of the 8000K hids in our cars if you would like.

Yeah definately send or post pics! Which bulb did you end up going with? I'm looking for a buld with a little more blue but also looking for a brighter bulb. If i'm not mistaken, I think out cars come stock with 4300k bulbs...something like that.
