There seems to be a weird noise coming from the power locks, when i press the button. They still work, but it sounds like a high pitch sound when i press the button. Anyone come across this? The dealer even changed the switch, but that didn't seem to fix it. Any comments. Thanks.

Where's the noise coming from? Can you narrow it down? All I can think is that some wiring is crossed, maybe a ground or something. Any recent electrical work?

No recent electrical work done. When i press on the lock switch, noise seems to be coming from around the glovebox area. It's like a high pitched sound.

Does the dealer think this is normal?

Maybe i'll bring it in soon to the dealer, so they could take a look. My service dept. is fantasic. It's about the only thing i've come across in Florida that's decent. As far as the cabin filter, i changed that about 6 months ago, so i have no excuse to go there. Thanks.

mine does this from time to time as well. i have noticed no problems with them. just an occasional high-pitched, almost whining sound. mine is usually from the rear passenger-side door.

That's the same sounding noise i have, except mine is coming from the front passenger side. I'll just keep an eye on it for now.

I also have the same noise coming from my rear-passenger door lock...almost like a whine immediately following the unlock. It almost sounds mechanical, like something needs to be lubed.

I noticed the same exact noise except from the driver's side passenger door on mine. It might be from the rear passenger door. Wonder what that is, It happens right after I unlock the doors.
