I believe he wired it to his dome/map lights, i suppose that would make sense as it would turn on and off if you open your door or lock/unlock your car. As for how and specificly where... i have no idea heh somewhere around the fuses[/b]

well the thing is.. i looked into that and was actually gonna tap in to the door courtesy light and when I was checking the power wires and how they worked it was coming up as a (neg) when the door was open and the light was on.. and when shut and light off the power was (pos) if that makes sense.. either way,, I couldnt get my LEDS to light up unless the door was shut and it was recieving power...

I have a Steel Gray 6 and used to have green undercar neons, and it looked really really good. Not ricey if done right! Anyway, I had them on for 8 or 9 months, then after getting 2 of the bulbs replaced (for free), the place that I bought them from stopped selling the same brand and I wasn't going to mix and match bulb brands, so I stopped using them (haven't been able to find the same bulbs yet). I still have the beat-to-the-music green tube in the trunk which I still have on, and 7 color leds in all the floorboards (except I forgot to plug them back in after installing my short-shifter, so they aren't on now but will be back).

I still like the looks of the underbody ones, but if I had to do it again I wouldn't do it. It was one of those things that I would always think about and if I didn't get it over with I would still be wanting them, so I got it over with

I will try to dig up pics of my lights, when I do, I will post them

I guess it is the same thing as the sharkfin antennae (I like that word ) btw, which I'm not a big fan of...

It boils down to personal preference and that is what makes our cars and this forum so good. Individuality. Everyone sharing tips of mods and cool twists to make our cars our own... (And the occasional flaming of a simply horrible idea

No, I don't mean this thread... other stuff that gets bashed (I was having a globally reflective moment I'm sure it will pass!)

I personally have never thought that neons were rice in themselves. It's usually the people that put them on that make them rice. I mean if you have a fart can exhaust, massive aluminum wing and neons, it's rice. If you have a nicely done show worthy Mazda6 then to me it's not rice at all. It actually usually highlights how nice the car actually is in such a scenario since it's an eye catcher. So I say if you like em, then get them.
