I had a HID kit installed on my 2004 Mazda 6 roughly 2 years ago and had to disable my DRLs.
I noticed that when I have my HIDs turned off while the engine is running, I can hear a buzzing noise coming from behind the dash. However as soon as I turn the HIDs back on, the noise completely dissapears.
I'm assuming that it maybe coming from the alternator but really am not too sure.
This normally wouldn't bother me since I leave the HIDs on at all times as DRLs but I am planning on selling/trading-in the car soon so would like to have this fixed.
Any ideas or similar experiences?
Also, how easy is it to uninstall a HID kit? Is it just a matter of removing the kit and putting back the halogen bulbs?
