Hey all, so, I tackled my last problem about the alarm going off, so I went for a nice little drive tonight, since it was starting to get dark, I just now noticed that my dome lights seem to be on during normal driving. They are just barely glowing, and I'm not sure if this is something related to me having LED lights there or what. Has anyone else experienced that?

I can see them on, glowing slightly when the car is remote started, and when I open the door and whatnot, they turn on full blast as normal. However while even driving they just seem to stay on glowing. I shut down the car now, locked it, and yep, they are still glowing...

I kinda have the same problem with mine, except mine stay full bright all the time. figured it had a bad connection or the door sense line. I just clipped the wire and never had the problem again...

Hmm, which is the door sense line? Was it one that we had to use the quick connects on, or is it a part of a regular connector?

I had an actual bad splice in the RS harness, the line I had a problem with went from the brain to the keyless unit Y connector

Thanks dream weave, I'll have to get out there tomorrow night or sometime this week and see if I can track it down, looking over the circuit diagram now, I see the dome light power wire it looks like and the "door ajar input". Is the door ajar input sound like the one you did? Did clipping it have any other effects on the system as a whole?

I'm not going to take those measures yet, but was curious what it would do

Edit: It looks like the only thing on circuit 1b-a is the dome lights and the door ajar sensor.

Edit2: For anyone else that is interested Dream weave was nice enough to attach the installation instructions to this thread. The circuit layout is on page 18 and 19.

only downside I found is that the dome light doesn't come on after disarm, nothing I can't live with.

Thanks again dream weave, I guess I'll start at checking the ground and some of the obvious stuff, then I might resort to the same action you did... I wonder how common this problem is? Seems ironic we both have it.
