I just bought a boost gauge and need to wire it in.. Seems the esiest solution would be to splice into the large bundle of cables just above the kick panel fuse box in the cabin.. THe only problem is I dont have a wiring diagram and am not sure which is the best wires to use.. I've read many posts about any +12V will work, use the light from the ash tray etc, but I am installing above the left defroster vent..

Any help for a noob would be really appreciated.

Alright, not sure what year you have, but shouldn't matter for these wires.

Acc: Black w/ red stripe. THis can be found coming from your key cylinder as it is the vehicle's accesory power wire, should be in a bundle with the other approx 12ga wiring coming from key cylinder.

Parking lights +: Light Green w/ black stripe. This will be found in the driver's kick panel in a 14 pin plug.

As always, test with a multimeter before tapping.

I'd rather replace my brakes than my engine, so other than the occasional heel/toe downshift I don't put the stress on the engine of compression braking. It's not a diesel.
"I know right? Engine braking...thats crazy. Holy crap though...can you imagine engine acceleration? Jeezus. I'm glad I don't do that!"
