anyone know where i can get a cheap replacement ballast for my hid set. i bought a pair off of ebay, had them installed but i didnt put a relay kit and 1 of the ballasts burnt out. now im haveing a hard time with the ebay seller and i want to buy a replacement. anyone have any ideas ?

i'm no HID guru... but i would stick to the ballasts that come with the bulbs... there might be some that aren't just compatible?

hmmmm... can you show us the link? cz rebased bulbs really hard to integrate with one another IIRC.... if you have the D2S bulbs, you can go to hidplanet.com/forums and see the B/S section...

hmm just re-read the post... when did u get the kit? the link u posted up says it has 1 year warranty... so i m guessing the seller giving u hard time by saying that u need to use a relay? i dont see how it got fried by not using a relay... maybe water went it?

I just read it. t_mo_t is right it does state that it comes with a one year warranty. The ballast doesnt neccesarily go if you dont use a relay. To me the seller is full of sh** Dont get jerked man.

Well I know where you can get CHEAP ballasts but the problem your going to run into is the same (high failure rate) T_mo_T is right you should just get the ones from RPM
